drgstring.com proceeds from a single, immodest premise: that brilliance is the ultimate luxury good, and that its appurtenances ought to be curated with a connoisseur's rigour. We pair discerning collectors with verified, credentialed scholars, and we hold authenticity, consent, and discretion to be self-evident.
Provenance, established
Each scholar submits diploma, licence, or institutional imprimatur, which we corroborate against the granting body before a listing draws its first breath. We authenticate credentials as the Courtauld authenticates a Caravaggio: documents de re, never gossip de dicto.
Consent & ownership, affirmed
Every seller attests, in writing and of her own volition, that the items are hers, freely offered, and that she is of legal age. Autonomy is not a footnote here; it is the first premise from which all else is validly derived.
Authentication & sealing
The piece is documented, photographed, assigned a numbered Certificate of Authenticity, its catalogue raisonné, and vacuum-sealed, typically within the eighth hour. A still life, foil-rendered.
Sub rosa fulfilment
Orders depart in plain, unmarked wrappers with studiously neutral billing descriptors. What cannot be discreetly said is, per Wittgenstein, simply not printed on the box.
The faculty tiers
Every piece is appointed to one of four ranks, and priced to it: Undergraduate (the accessible entry), Doctoral (the core of the canon), Distinguished (the chairs and the laureates-in-waiting), and Nobel Adjacent (for the collector who has acquired everything but the unrepeatable). φ ≈ 1.618 has been honourably retired from the price tags — it now governs only what should never have been left to the market: the cohort numbers thirteen (F(7)), and every review tally is a Fibonacci term. Ethics & consent
We treat only with sellers who participate willingly and are verified to be adults. We categorically prohibit any listing touching upon minors, coercion, or impersonation, there is no sophistry, however elegant, that we will entertain on these points. Sellers govern their own pricing, anonymity, and disclosures; buyers must be 18+ (21+ where the jurisdiction insists).
A candid word on payments
Intimate goods are deemed "high-risk" by the mainstream processors, Stripe, PayPal, Square and most banks proscribe them in their terms, and we will not dignify a workaround. A live atelier therefore routes checkout through an adult-friendly gateway (CCBill, Verotel, SegPay) or cryptocurrency. This prototype, in the spirit of Magritte, processes no real payment: ceci n'est pas une transaction.
